Arkansas River Valley Wildland Fire Academy

The Arkansas River Valley Wildland Fire Academy is an annual training event that brings together firefighters, instructors, and experts from across the country. In 2024, over 500 participants and instructors from more than 30 states attended the academy, which was held at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville from May 13-24.
