Summer’s here, and you know what that means…time for band camp! But not just any band camp, we’re talkin’ about the legendary Arkansas Tech University Junior High Band Camp. That’s right, get ready for a week of musical mayhem and fun in the sun (hopefully not too much sun, gotta keep those instruments safe!).

ATU Opens its Doors to Budding Musicians

This year, Arkansas Tech University (we all know it as ATU, right?) is gonna be rockin’ out with about two hundred and forty junior high students from all over. They’ll be takin’ over the ATU campus in Russellville, Arkansas, from Sunday, June twenty-third to Thursday, the twenty-seventh. That’s five whole days of music, friendship, and maybe a little bit of mischief (shhh, don’t tell the counselors!).

From Rehearsals to Revelry: The ATU Band Camp Experience

So, what exactly goes down at this epic summer music extravaganza? Well, picture this: intensive musical instruction that’ll make your head spin (in a good way!), ensemble rehearsals that’ll have you jammin’ with your new besties, and a sneak peek into the awesome world of ATU campus life. Who knows, you might even decide to become a Wonder Boy or Golden Sun (that’s ATU’s awesome mascots, for all you non-Arkansans).

The Junior High Band Camp culminates in not one, not two, but THREE incredible concerts in the beautiful Witherspoon Auditorium on the ATU campus.
