Free Entrepreneurship Expo Nov. 30 Concludes Global Entrepreneurship Month Training Sessions
Department of Commerce Hosts Leading Professionals for Virtual Sessions to Stimulate New Small Business Starts and Inspire Entrepreneurship Statewide
OLYMPIA, WA — The Washington State Department of Commerce will crown its annual Global Entrepreneurship Month activities with an online Entrepreneur Expo on November 30th. This complimentary virtual Zoom session will encompass a kaleidoscope of topics for current and prospective startups and small business owners, ranging from artificial intelligence to funding opportunities and Gen Z’s role in the workplace. The event will take place online from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year marks the eighth time Governor Jay Inslee has declared November as Global Entrepreneurship Month in Washington. The Department of Commerce has hosted a unique series of training and education opportunities across Washington to assist residents in starting and operating successful businesses. These events draw inspiration from and build upon Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 13-19), an international event hosting entrepreneur activities worldwide.
Entrepreneurs may also be interested in the Commerce Entrepreneur Academy, a series of eleven courses covering various business aspects, from ideation to common pitfalls.
