Eastern Nazarene College Welcomes Virginia DePina as Director of Marketing and Communications

Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Virginia DePina as the new Director of Marketing and Communications. With over 15 years of experience in diverse marketing and media roles, DePina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the ENC community.
A Seasoned Marketing Professional with a Passion for Community Service
Prior to joining ENC, DePina served as the Marketing Director at Massasoit Community College, where she led the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies. Her background also includes Digital Marketing and Media Relations experience at Bunker Hill Community College, where she played a key role in promoting the college’s academic programs and initiatives.
DePina’s passion for community service is evident through her involvement in various organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fuller Craft Museum and the Brockton Area Multiservices, Inc. (BAMSI). Additionally, she holds the position of Vice President for the Bay State Chapter of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA), advocating for the success of Black students, faculty, and staff in community colleges.

Dr. Tim Eades, Vice President of Enrollment Management at ENC, expressed his delight in welcoming DePina to the ENC community. DePina’s dedication to higher education extends beyond her professional affiliations. She previously served on the Program Advisory Board for the Women In Leadership Certificate Program at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, demonstrating her commitment to promoting leadership development and opportunities for women.
A Welcoming Addition to the ENC Community
As a lifelong South Shore resident, DePina is excited to be a part of the ENC community and contribute her expertise to the ongoing success of the College. She is passionate about making a lasting positive impact and looks forward to collaborating with the marketing and communications team to elevate ENC’s visibility and reputation.
Outside of her professional life, DePina is an active member of Grace Church in Avon, Massachusetts, where she serves in the Children’s Ministry, Worship Team, and Women’s Ministry. She holds an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Massasoit Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Media Art from Emerson College, and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from Lasell College.
