Embracing Technology: Tech Savvy Seniors Workshops
Empowering Seniors with Digital Literacy
In an era defined by rapid technological advancements, it can be daunting for seniors to navigate the ever-changing digital landscape. Recognizing this need, MidCoast Council Libraries, in collaboration with the State Government, State Library of NSW, and Telstra, proudly presents the Tech Savvy Seniors workshops. These workshops are meticulously designed to bridge the digital divide by equipping seniors with the essential skills and knowledge to confidently utilize their devices and harness the vast opportunities offered by the digital world.
Tailored Support for Individual Needs
The Tech Savvy Seniors workshops are thoughtfully crafted to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of seniors. Participants are warmly encouraged to bring their own charged devices, including smartphones, tablets, or laptops, to the workshops. Our team of experienced trainers will provide personalized, one-on-one support, ensuring that each participant receives the undivided attention they deserve to maximize their technological proficiency.
Group Sessions for Collaborative Learning
In addition to the individual training sessions, the workshops also offer engaging group sessions, fostering a collaborative learning environment where seniors can interact, share experiences, and learn from one another. These group sessions focus on specific topics, such as introducing new devices or navigating library e-Services. This interactive approach not only enhances the learning experience but also creates a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, where seniors feel comfortable asking questions and seeking assistance.
